The Educational Travel Foundation focuses its efforts primarily on countries which have been designated by the United Nations as least-developed(LDCs). Your contribution to the work of the foundation in supporting the educational needs of those from LDCs can make a real difference.

The role of Student Ambassador will involve building awareness of the ETF on your university campus and within the wider community where you are based. You might also get involved in organizing fundraising events in order to support our work in building sustainable communities in Less Developed Countries (LDCs).

It is clear that volunteers get a lot out of their experience. A majority of  volunteers (79%), past and present, got a sense of satisfaction from their involvement; many felt they gained a broader experience of life (60%) and had been able to meet new people or make new friends (53%).
